Dunhinda Falls
Dunhinda Falls is 64 m (210 ft) tall, and it lies about 5 km (3.1 mi) from Badulla in the Uva Province of Sri Lanka. The waterfalls are said to be among the most beautiful in the country.

The waterfall gets its name by the meaning of “Dun” in Sinhala is a smoky dewdrop spray that surrounds the area at the waterfall's base. It's also known as Bridal Fall because the shape of the falling water resembles a bridal veil. There are also some myths and legends surrounding the fall. The Badulu Oya, which flows through Badulla, causes the fall.
How to get to to Dunhinda Falls
Badulla town is located 3.5 km down the Mahiyangana-Badulla Road. To reach the waterfall, walk approximately 1.2 km through a mountainous track from the last point. Because of the popularity of the fall, this is a safe and frequently used path.
