Dunhinda Falls is without a doubt one of Sri Lanka's most stunning waterfalls. This waterfall, located near the city of Badulla, is a fascinating location for all tourists. Princess Dunhinda, who feeds on Badulu Oya.

The waterfall gets its name by the meaning of “Dun” in Sinhala is a smoky dewdrop spray that surrounds the area at the waterfall's base. It's also known as Bridal Fall because the shape of the falling water resembles a bridal veil. There are also some myths and legends surrounding the fall. The Badulu Oya, which flows through Badulla, causes the fall.

Badulla town is located 3.5 km down the Mahiyangana-Badulla Road. To reach the waterfall, walk approximately 1.2 km through a mountainous track from the last point. Because of the popularity of the fall, this is a safe and frequently used path.
