Hanthana Mountain Range
The Hanthana Mountain Range is 1,158 m (3,800 ft) tall and is located in central Sri Lanka, southwest of Kandy. The mountain range has seven peaks.

The National Environment Act designated it as an environmental protection area in February 2010. The range's maximum elevation is 1,158 m (3,800 ft). The mountain range has seven peaks. The Uura Kanda is the highest. In Sri Lanka, the range is a popular destination for mountain hikers. Mountain hikers are born here; if someone comes to Hanthana, they will go on a mountain hike. The breathtaking scenery in this paradise mountain range. The Peradeniya University is located near the Hanthana mountain range.
