Great Western Mountain
The Great Western Mountain lies in the Nuwara Eliya district in the Central province of Sri Lanka. It is the 7th highest mountain, and its summit elevation is 2,216 m (7,270 ft).

The Great Western Mountain is approximately one kilometer long and can be climbed from both ends. Climbing the mountain offers breathtaking views of the surrounding area, including Sri Pada, Pidurutalagala, and the Seven Virgin Hills. You will also be able to see an ancient Hindu Kovil hidden in the dense forest at this location.
This mountain is home to a variety of wild animals, including leopards, foxes, hares, monkeys, wild boars, and sambar deer.
